International and domestic express from Malaysia — managed across carriers, on one account

Express is the right answer for urgent, small and unpredictable shipments — and the wrong one for a lot of what businesses send by it out of habit. ADS runs express properly: multiple carriers on one account, one invoice, a portal you can self-serve from, and people who will tell you when another mode fits the shipment better.

An appointed agent, several carriers, and one account to run it all from

ADS is an appointed agent and consolidator for the world’s leading express carriers, and has been since 2009. That relationship is what the account runs on — and it is what lets us do the following.

Several carriers, one account.

Carriers are not equally strong on every lane, and their pricing does not move together. With one account covering several of them, your shipment routes by where it is going rather than by which single contract happens to be in place.

One invoice, not four.

Consolidated billing across carriers, reconciled before it reaches you.

A portal you can work in.

Create shipments, track them, pull your own shipping reports and view your invoices without emailing anyone.

People who know what you ship.

Our consultants know how your cargo classifies, what approvals it triggers and which lane suits it.

The paperwork layer around the parcel.

Classification, duty and tax exposure, certificates of origin and destination requirements are checked around the movement so the shipment is prepared to clear.

Somewhere to go when your volume changes shape.

When a lane grows past the point where express is sensible, air freight and sea freight sit on the same account with the same team.

Export, import and domestic

  • International export express

Documents and parcels move out of Malaysia to customers, distributors and buyers worldwide through leading express companies on a managed account.

  • International import express

Bring shipments into Malaysia on your account so you control the carrier, service level and cost, with customs and compliance handled by the same team as your outbound shipments.

  • Domestic delivery within Malaysia

The last leg of the chain, not a standalone product. Where we clear your cargo, we deliver it to your door, distribution centre or retail outlets nationwide, including Sabah and Sarawak.

  • Scheduled road freight to Singapore

Consolidated groupage departs every Tuesday and Thursday on a fixed schedule, so you pay for the space you use.

  • Dangerous goods

Battery-related items and other dangerous goods are routed through carriers approved under IATA rules, with the documentation and booking prepared accordingly.

  • No minimum volume

A first shipment is a valid place to start, and the account does not require a minimum volume.

Self-service, so your week is not spent chasing status

Your express account includes a portal where you can create shipments, track them, pull your own shipping reports and view your invoices.

  • Create shipments

    Book without emailing anyone.

  • Track across carriers

Follow the express shipments covered by your account.

  • Pull shipping reports

Review your volumes, lanes and spend without asking us to compile them.

  • View and check invoices

Match invoices to consignments from the same account.

The portal covers express and courier shipments. Sea and air freight are tracked against the bill of lading or master air waybill, with updates against the booking.

We will tell you when express is not the right answer

Express is a speed product. You pay for a time-defined network service on every shipment — including replenishment stock that is not needed for three weeks and repeat orders that leave on the same schedule every month.

If you are sending regular, predictable, heavy volume by express, you are almost certainly paying too much for it. Consolidated air freight and sea freight exist for exactly that cargo, and moving it is usually the single largest saving available to a business shipping out of Malaysia.

We would rather tell you that than quietly take the margin.

The duty-free channel into the United States has closed

If you sell to US customers from Malaysia, every consignment now needs a customs entry, a classification, a declared value and a party liable for duty, whatever it is worth.

The more parcels you send, the more entries you pay for. Where consolidation used to be an optimisation, it is now the obvious way to assess repeat parcel volume.

A licensed courier operator, not only a reseller

  • MCMC courier licence

ADS holds a Non-Universal Service Licence under the Postal Services Act 2012, the licence that authorises a courier service in Malaysia.

  • Since 2009

ADS began in express and still runs it for importers, exporters, manufacturers, retail programmes and online sellers.

  • Every mode on one account

Express, air freight, sea LCL and FCL, customs clearance, permits and last-mile delivery are coordinated by the same team.

  • A compliance layer around the shipment

We work out which Malaysian agency governs your product, what duty and tax to expect, and what the destination requires before the shipment moves.

  • Consultants who understand what you ship

Shipment knowledge and consolidated billing stay together instead of being split across separate accounts.

FAQ

What does a managed account with ADS give me?

Several carriers on one account, one reconciled invoice, an express portal you can self-serve from, consultants who know your cargo and the classification, duty and destination-requirement work around the shipment.

Do you run a truck to Singapore?

Yes — every Tuesday and Thursday on a fixed schedule as consolidated groupage. Share the dimensions and weight and we will quote the space.

Do you handle inbound shipments as well as outbound?

Yes. Import express on your account means you control the carrier and service level instead of accepting the arrangement selected by your supplier.

Do you deliver within Malaysia?

Yes, nationwide including Sabah and Sarawak. It is the last leg of the chain rather than a standalone courier product.

What is in the customer portal?

Shipment creation, tracking, shipping reports and invoice access.

Does the portal cover my sea or air freight too?

No. The portal covers express and courier shipments. Sea and air freight are tracked against the bill of lading or master air waybill, with updates against the booking.

Can you ship batteries and power banks?

Yes. They are routed through carriers approved under IATA dangerous goods rules, with the documentation prepared accordingly. Tell us what is in the shipment before booking.

Is there a minimum volume to open an account?

No.

I ship to the US on a marketplace. Has anything changed?

Yes. Every consignment now needs a customs entry, classification, declared value and party liable for duty. Repeat parcel volume should be reviewed against consolidation.

Should I be using express at all?

For urgent, small and unpredictable shipments, yes. For regular, predictable, heavy volume, usually not — and we will tell you which lanes fit which mode.

Tell us what you send and how often

Share the lanes, weights and frequency. We will come back with what your express account should look like and, where it applies, which volume should move by another mode.
